Spherical metal powder is mainly used in metal injection forming (MIM), high-performance spherical metal powder including VIGA (vacuum), electrode induction gas atomization (EIGA), plasma atomization (PA), plasma globalization (PS), and plasma rotating electrode (PREP), high quality spherical refractory metal powder is the key application of thermal isostatic pressure, thermal spraying, injection, molding and 3D printing, the production of high-performance refractory metal components. At present, the preparation technology of spherical refractory metal powder mainly includes physical and chemical methods, plasma globalization methods, plasma atomization methods, and plasma rotating electrode methods.

3D printing (additive manufacturing) (a new manufacturing technology different from traditional removal processing), is attracting attention with its simple manufacturing process, low production cost, and short research and development cycle.
