Boron nitride ceramics have advantages of high-temperature resistance, use temperature of 2000 degrees and alumina does not exceed 1700 degrees. The heat shock resistance is very good, and the boron nitride ceramics will not crack, 1000 degrees of furnace heat out for 20 minutes to blow the air and cold repeatedly hundreds of times will not crack. Aluminum oxide ceramics urgently cold and hot is easy to crack. Corrosion resistance, acid-alkali resistance, electric insulation strength is 3-4 times that of alumina ceramics. Boron nitride ceramic-metal materials do not react nonbonding such as black ferrous, iron, copper, stainless steel, bismuth, germanium, aluminum, antimony, tin, cadmium, lead, nickel, zinc, brass, indium, magnesium; glass melt, sodium glass, ice crystal, etc. Silicon molten salt: slag fluoride does not react and does not bond, can be used as its high-temperature sintering melting holding container, the crucible, sintering plate, etc. Boron nitride is prone to moisture absorption and should not be placed in wet areas when the crucible is unused.
