Gadolinium (Gd) Metal is a rare earth metal with the symbol Gd and atomic number 64. It is a silvery-white, malleable, and ductile metal that belongs to the lanthanide series of elements. It does not tarnish in dry air but an oxide film forms in moist air. It is strongly magnetic at room temperature. HM stocks a wide variety of rare earth materials for use in electronics, petrochemicals, metallurgy, machinery, energy, environmental protection, agriculture, and other fields.
