Magnesium-zirconium (MgZr) master alloy is also called Magnesium zirconium casting alloy. Magnesium alloys usually need to add some alloying elements to improve their performance. Zirconium can easily become crystal nuclei during crystallization, which obviously refines the alloy grains, thereby greatly improving the mechanical properties of magnesium alloys.
