Molybdenum Lanthanum (Mo-La) is an alloy made by adding small quantities of lanthanum oxide particles (0.3 or 0.7 percent) into molybdenum. It gives the molybdenum a so-called stacked fiber structure. Molybdenum-lanthanum oxide is also creep-resistant even under extreme conditions of use. Mo-La alloy often machined to produce furnace components such as stranded and other wires, sintering and annealing boats or evaporator coils.
Molybdenum Lanthanum (Mo-La) Alloy can be used in the lighting industry, for example, for retaining and feed wires.
