Molybdenum Heat Shield Materials

  • Pure Molybdenum Metal
  • TZM (Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum)
  • ML (Molybdenum-Lanthanum Oxide)

Molybdenum Heat Shield Applications

  • Used to provide thermal insulation and protect against high temperatures in industrial furnaces, including those used for sintering, annealing, and heat treatment processes.
  • Used in vacuum furnaces and other vacuum systems to maintain thermal isolation and protect sensitive components from extreme temperatures.
  • Used in electronic devices and semiconductor manufacturing processes to shield against high temperatures and provide thermal management.

Molybdenum Heat Shield Storage and Usage Recommendations

  • Molybdenum is a brittle material and must be handled with care.
  • When storing Molybdenum products, the relative humidity of the environment should not exceed 60%, as they are prone to oxidation.
  • After firing or prolonged use, the Molybdenum Insulation Screen has fully recrystallized, resulting in fine grains and increased brittleness. It should be avoided as much as possible to prevent contact.
  • Molybdenum is prone to oxidation at high temperatures, so the vacuum level should not exceed 10-3Pa during high-temperature applications.

Molybdenum Heat Shield Packaging

The Molybdenum heat shield products will be carefully packaged in wooden cases, and supported with soft materials to prevent movement during transportation. This ensures that the products remain securely in place throughout the packaging process.
