TZM Alloy is a prevalent molybdenum alloy, comprising 0.50% titanium, 0.08% zirconium, and the remaining balance of 0.02% as a carbon molybdenum alloy. The table below compares the physical properties of TZM alloy with pure molybdenum. TZM alloy exhibits excellent mechanical properties, particularly at elevated temperatures, surpassing pure molybdenum.
