Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum alloy (TZM alloy) is an established molybdenum alloy (0.5% Ti, 0.08% Zr, balance Mo) which is consolidated by either the P/M or vacuum casting processes. TZM is an alloy commonly used in molybdenum and its base alloys, with a composition of 0.50% titanium, 0.08% zirconium, and the remaining 0.02% carbon molybdenum alloy.
TZM alloy has the characteristics of high melting point, high strength, high elastic modulus, small linear expansion coefficient, low vapor pressure, good electrical and thermal conductivity, strong corrosion-resistance, and good high-temperature mechanical properties, so it can be widely used in many fields.
